"A Songbird shares seeds
with a Sparrow"
A Songbird to a Sparrow.
While learning to fly, I flew very fast.
I remembered a Sparrow, I met in the past.
Who spoke of a Farmer, as I hid in my shell.
A fine loving Man, Who saved me from hell.
Being born in a land, where some stormclouds loomed.
The wailings of a Songbird, seamed unheard as they boomed.
As it started to rain, my cage opened free.
Fleeing muddy waters, flowing into the sea.
The Sparrow fled north, and the Songbird flew south.
As a beautiful song, soon entered his mouth.
He travelled many meadows, above the valleys of fog.
Singing songs of the Lord, which he wrote in his log.
While traversing a desert, he missed the mountain breezes.
As he remembered the day, he became one with Jesus.
As his food supply dwindled, the trench became narrow.
In his pack he discovered, some old seeds from the Sparrow.
When He planted these seeds, they began to take root.
Growing into the Son, they began to bear fruit.
As I feed from this fruit, and separate the weeds.
I offer this Sparrow, some of these newly-grown seeds.
