"The Song of Psalms"

The Song of Psalms

When my heart turns to stone
And my enemy has won.
I open my bible
To Psalm 121

When my thoughts fade to old
And I strive for the new.
He opens my mind
To Psalm 22.

When I stand faslely accused
!
And I long to be free.
He breaks the chains of my shackles
With Psalm 43.

When my assets have dwindled
And my payment is poor.
He fills up my pocket
With Psalm 54.

When my spirit is dying
And cries out for new life.
He fills my lungs with a breath
Of Psalm 65.
&nb! sp;
When my fears have arisen
And I've taken my licks.
He fills the wound with the salve
Of Psalm 36.

When I'm trapped in a valley
And I hunger for heaven.
I hear the echo of His voice
In Psalm 77.

On nights I am weary
And the evening is late.
He refreshes my body
With Psalm 128.

When pride falls upon me
and I forget what's Divine.
He sends a reminder
With Psalm 99.
