One of the students at our parish school, Joanna, is faced with
surgery to halt the progress of a very serious medical condition.

Not much is known about this condition by the doctors.  It is
affecting her upper spinal column.

Her parents, both teachers here, request prayers to effect a healing
for their daughter.
