EXCERPT:On December 9th, 2005, a major Disney movie, based on the first book of The Chronicles of Narnia by C.S. Lewis, opened in theaters across the country. The movie was such a hit that it took in nearly 24,000,000 dollars on opening day. One of the reasons for its success is because “Christian” churches of all denominations filled the theaters in droves as they arrived by the busload to view the movie based on the first chronicle of Narnia, known as The Lion, the Witch, and the Wardrobe. Many church pastors and church leaders are declaring that the movie is Christian and contains Christian themes and has a type of Christ in it. Many churches are also using The Lion, the Witch, and the Wardrobe as Sunday school material for teaching the young people of their congregations.--------------
