"Re: John Clark's post, "Counting the years""

I compliment John Clark's insightful post on counting the years.  Questions usually can be resolved by looking at the underlying principles and that is what is shown here.  The principle is entirely simple: time is defined by the sun, moon, and stars (and God controls their timing, not man).  If God changes the observed timing of the sun, moon, and stars, that is not our problem and we need not make it a problem.  If day length changes, a day remains a day.  If the month timing changes, a month is still a month.  And if years lengthen or shorten, a year is still a year.  That is why God is in control of time, not man.
