This coming Tuesday night at 9pm Eastern, 8 CST,
6 PST, I'll be doing a paltalk broadcast that will be the first in several
on examples of Hebrew thought in the New Testament. This coming Tuesday
Night, the examples I will be covering will be how the Hebrew Alphabet has
a pattern that appears weaving in two interesting places in the New Testament:
The Sermon on the Mount and Zechariah's prayer.
In my book, "The Creative Forces", I talk about
how the Hebrew alphabet (Alef Bet) is used poetically in several of the Psalms,
Proverbs and Lamentations. Every time it is used poetically, the content
of the verses that use that letter poetically follows the same trend, and
is discussing as its subject matter the concept that the letter symbolizes.
Each letter of the Hebrew alphabet symbolizes something, and its symbolism
can be seen in the way each letter is used poetically.
A similar pattern is found in the sermon
on the mount! Every time Yeshua does a topic shift in
the Sermon on the Mount, the next topic relates to the symbolic meaning of
the next letter in the Hebrew alphabet, as we understand its meaning to be
revealed through the Psalms and other poetic uses of the alphabet. A
similar thing is also seen in Zechariah's prayer.
Shalom, Joseph
