For the Israelis, 2006 opened with its government
fractured ...

To the east, Iran's rabidly anti-Semitic government
has threatened to wipe Israel off the map ...

Iran is less than four months from becoming a nuclear
power...

The United States is currently in talks with NATO
about launching a military assault against the
Persians sometime in the spring of 2006 ...

The Mahdi is due to make his global appearance within
the next two year.  Ahamadinejad believes his job is
to get the ball rolling for him before he arrives.

Psalms 34 and 103 come to mind as an HEAVEN SENT
ANTIDOTE to 'taking offense'.

Also Psalms 106/107 and Romans 8:28  And we know that
all things work together for good to them that love
God, to them who are the called according to his
purpose.

Hosea 5:15  I will go and return to my place, till
they acknowledge their offense, and seek my face: in
their affliction they will seek me early.

2 Thessalonians 1:6-9  Seeing it is a righteous thing
with God to recompense tribulation to them that
trouble you; And to you who are troubled rest with us,
when the Lord Jesus shall be revealed from heaven with
his mighty angels, in flaming fire taking vengeance on
them that know not God, and that obey not the
gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ: Who shall be punished
with everlasting destruction from the presence of the
Lord, and from the glory of his power;

Recall that that 'caused to be strengthed for 7' year
'covenant wirh RABin' ... was a '2 + 5 year plan' ...
 

So, it may not be too surprising if we now find
ourselves
in the last 2 years of the next '5 + 2 year plan'

Recall that the time of Jacob's trouble (over Rachael)
took at first a 7 year period ... then after some
trickery
by Laban ... another 7 years  .... then after what
looks
to be about another 6 years ... all of Israel's family

together agreed to leave Laban and go back to Israel's
land.

Genesis 31:41  Thus have I been twenty years in thy
house; I served thee fourteen years for thy two
daughters, and six years for thy cattle: and thou hast
