Hospital director Prof. Shlomo Mor-Yosef in a second bulletin in mid-morning Thursday reported the massive cerebral bleeding had been stemmed. Ariel Sharon’s condition remains grave but his vital functions are active. The hospital director declined to reply to questions on the prospects of Sharon’s recovery or the extent of the brain damage caused by the “significant” stroke and massive cerebral bleeding he suffered Wednesday night.
