ISRAEL ACCEPTS PAT ROBERTSON’S APOLOGY OVER SHARON COMMENTS
According to the Jewish Telegraphic Agency (http://jta.org/page_view_breaking_story.asp?intid=884), Israel’s ambassador to the United States has accepted Robertson’s apology and plans to speak with him.Israeli Ambassador Daniel Ayalon told the Jewish Telegraphic Agency that Robertson had taken to heart the outrage over his comments. “I felt he was very sincere. He is a great friend of Israel,” Ayalon said.
Ayalon said he expected that Robertson will again be allowed to participate in a project to build a Christian theme park in Israel.
