Iran seeks stronger ties with Libya

Tripoli, Libya, 01/18 - Libyan leader Colonel Mouammar Kadhafi Monday received a
special message from Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadi Nejad, stressing the need
to strengthen relations between the two countries, official sources said here.
 

The message was delivered by Iranian vice-president for parliamentarian and
legal affairs, Ahmed Moussawi.

Abderrahman Chalgham, Libyan Secretary for External Relations and International
Co-operation, attended the meeting between both men.
