When we contemplate the recent happenings of the tsunami, we have to consider that God "sees things" that none of us ever see.
 
I'm not sure how many people are aware of the fact that Phuket Island is one of the largest centers of pornography in Asia. Pornography is also big business in Sweden. Ever wonder why there were so many SWEDES in the area when the tsunami hit?   Thailand and Indonesia both are awash with brothels, trafficking in child prostitutes and pornography.  Also, many of the beaches over there where the waves came in are some of the most popular topless beaches in the world. Though my heart goes out to the CHILDREN (especially!) who suffered as a result of losing parents and are traumatized from the tsunami, I can not help but wonder what the eyes of the HOLY ONE who inhabits Israel was SEEING in some of the dark corners of those islands and those countries, things that would run our blood cold!  God LOVES children!  How do you think he feels seeing 7 and 8 year olds sold as prostitutes and continuously abused day after day? How many brothels do you think He washed out on that day, along with the owners and operators of them??? Or porn studios?   How many terrorists and their deadly weapons do you think HE drowned in the waves that hit Indonesia?  Do you know that it wasn't but a few weeks before the tsunami hit that Indonesians (muslims) were marching thru their streets cursing Americans?  Did you know that the countries hardest hit by the tsunami are also on the top 50 list of the worst countries in the world for persecution of CHRISTIANS?  Did you know that nearly every one of those countries has cursed Israel and voted against them in the UN repeatedly?!   I watched one story on the news of a lady who was pouring out a milk offering  to her god, in hopes that he/she(?) would not send another angry wave to their shores, yet she was impoverished herself!
 
We are told from the bible that the 7 spirits of God roam the earth.  I watched a news program yesterday where a Jewish rabbi told a Christian that she was blaspheming God by even HINTING that the tsunami could possibly be one of God's judgements against sin.  Another woman on the program, an atheist, had many verbal attacks as well, for the Christian.  Now I can understand why, in the book of Revelations, after God pours out His wrath (yes WRATH!) on the entire world, that instead of repenting, they will be shaking their fists and cursing Him!  How sad, yet it will be 100X worse than what we are seeing from the tsunami!
 
I realize that many innocent people also suffer and many lost their lives in those waves, but anytime something like this happens, the innocent also suffer with the guilty  If God decides to bomb my home state tomorrow and I get blown up, I am saved, redeemed and paid for by the Blood of the Lamb, so I go UP regardless!  But that doesn't mean He won't get a couple hundred drug pushers, perverts and child molesters in the process too!   Remember God is SOVEREIGN.  He does what He wants and we can't always see the reason ahead of time.  In the Book of Rev, 1/4 of the population of the earth will be decimated.  Don't you think there will be a lot of young children and babies in those numbers?  Of course there will!  Does that mean that GOD is wrong in doing this?  Shall not the Judge of all the earth do RIGHT?  He makes no mistakes, never!  Most people just want to think of God as a great big KISS waiting to give them a big hug REGARDLESS of how they live and what they do - they forget that He is also totally JUST and totally RIGHTEOUS. If you doubt that God's righteousness hates sin, just look at what it cost HIM to redeem us from the curse of sin - JESUS, the LAMB!!!
