A look at terrorism during the last seven days

Following is a partial list of attacks which occurred against Israelis during the seven-day-period from Thursday (13^th) up to and including Thursday (20^th):

• A truck bomb was detonated on Thursday (13^th) at Karni Crossing in Gaza, followed by suicide bombers, which killed six Israelis, including three Sderot residents, and wounded five. Hamas, al-Aqsa Brigades and the Popular Resistance Committee claimed responsibility for the attack.
• A Kassam rocket slammed into Sderot, Saturday night (15^th) critically injuring 17-year-old Ella Abukasis, and wounding her 10-year-old brother. Ella died on Friday morning (21^st).
• 7-year-old Jerusalem resident Amit Binyamin was injured seriously when mortars pounded Netzarim last Friday, (14^th) where he was visiting during the Sabbath. An adult was wounded in the same attack.
• Shin Bet agent Oded Sharon, 36, the father of three, was killed in a suicide bombing attack at Gush Katif Junction, Tuesday evening (18^th), with 8 other security troops injured.
• Two soldiers were injured on Wednesday (19^th) when an anti-tank rocket was fired at an armored IDF D9 bulldozer operating near Erez in northern Gaza. The soldiers’ conditions were reported as moderate and light.
• On Thursday (20^th) a girl traveling on board a bus was injured in the Pisgat Zeev area of northern Jerusalem when Arabs pelted the vehicle with rocks.
