In the vein of Jim Bramlet's post, if we could figure out exactly which day count per year God is using, then we would have a better idea if we should be anticipating the Rapture now or 27 years from now.
  If genesis 1 was 4000 solar years BC, and we are already at 2000+ AD and God is giving the church age 2000 solar years from the formation of the Church, we might want to find out which fishing spot Jim will be headed to and join him for some fellowship.
