Thanks to all who replied on my question concerning the Scriptural reference to the 40 and 38 years for a generation.

I had always heard that most bible scholars considered a Jewish generation to be either one or the other.
 
I myself, had already been shown that the "certain man in John 5" is National Israel, but at times we have some who come to us and say "That isn't in the Bible."
 
I had one such reaction to Pastor Riley's first letter on the "two years the Israelites spent at Mt. Sinai."

I have done alot of study of the Scriptures over the years. I am also into my 11th year of homeschooling, which limits my time.
 
So thanks to you both for refreshing my memory in the Scriptures. God Bless you and all who replied greatly.
