The Law of 'Equilibrium'
Do you know what caused the Asian tsunami? Most people think it was an undersea earthquake. The poor, beknighted, uneducated fools!
No, it wasn't an undersea earthquake that created the killer waves that destroyed homes and lives and swept the coastlines clear of homes, businesses, trees and people.
It was Allah's 'Law of Equilibrium'. Now, I am sure most of you have never heard of this law. Neither, evidently, had Sheik Ibrahim Mudeiris' audience when he delivered his sermon in Jerusalem (which was broadcast on PA TV)
"I can see in your eyes that you are wondering what the 'universal law of equilibrium' is."
(Oh, great Sheik, you are correct. We are wondering. What is this universal law?")
"This law is a divine law. If people are remiss in implementing God's law and in being zealous and vengeful for His sake, Allah sets his soldiers in action to take revenge."
(Ok, it's Allah's revenge. Revenge for what? And against whom?)
"The oppression and corruption caused by America and the Jews have increased."
(Aha! That explains the two dozen dead Americans, the forty or so dead Israelis, and so on. What explains the 100,000 plus dead Muslims?)
"Have you heard of these beaches that are called 'tourists' paradise?' You have all probably heard of Bangkok. We read about it, and knew it as the center of corruption on the face of this earth. Over there, there are Zionist and American investments."
"Over there they bring Muslims and others to prostitution. Over there, there are beaches, which they dubbed 'tourists' paradise,' while only a few meters away, the locals live in hell on earth. They cannot make ends meet, while a few meters away there is a paradise, 'tourists' paradise.'
Do you want the earth to turn a blind eye to the corrupt oppressors? Do you want the sea… Do you want the sea to lower its waves in the face of corruption that it sees with its own eyes?! No, the zero hour has come."
(Ummm, Allah killed 100,000 Muslims in order to get at a handful of Americans and Jews? Because they made Muslims into prostitutes? Seems kinda inefficient. Maybe I'm just checking in with the wrong cleric.)
Let's check in with Ibrahim Al-Bashar, senior advisor to the Saudi Justice Minister. He appeared on the Saudi Arabian/UAE Al-Majd TV channel to explain what caused the tsunami that ravaged South Asia, where the most devastated country was Indonesia, the world's largest Muslim country.
"Whoever reads the Koran, given by the Maker of the World, can see how these nations were destroyed. There is one reason: they lied, they sinned, and [they] were infidels. Whoever studies the Koran can see this is the result. . .)
(Ummmm, that's three reasons. Maybe he should squeeze in a little study of math?)
"These countries, in which these things occurred - don't they refrain from adopting Allah's law, which is a form of heresy?"
"Man-made laws have been chosen over Allah's law, which has been deemed unsuitable to judge people?"
(Like stoning adulterers, beheading unbelievers, endorsing the 'honor' killings of women and obtaining salvation by killing 'infidels'? Wonder why?)
"Whoever does not act according to Allah's law is a heretic, that's what Allah said in the Koran. Don't these countries have witchcraft, sorcery, deceitfulness, and abomination?"
Ummm, gee, those are GREAT questions. Indonesia had a population of 238,452,952 (as of July, 2004). Of that population, 88% are Muslims.
Eight percent are Christians and there are, oh, about zero Jews living there, give or take. Of the total number of victims, now estimated at about 155,000.
Of THAT number, 104,055 came from Indonesia, of whom, statistically, 88% of those victims were Muslims.
The tsunami was so powerful it made its way all the way to the coast of Africa. The worst hit African state was Somalia, where the water destroyed 1,180 homes, smashed 2,400 boats, drowned 300 people with thousands still unaccounted for. More than fifty thousand were left homeless.
Everybody remembers Somalia, right? The Islamic country where Osama bin-Laden's forces drove us from the battlefield in 1993?
Other countries were also affected, most of them either majority Buddhist or Hindu, but fully two-thirds of the total victims were Muslim and Muslim-majority countries suffered the most death and destruction.
Explains Sheikh Fawzan Al-Fawzan, a professor at the Al-Imam University, who pointed out, helpfully, on Saudi's Al-Majd TV;
"These great tragedies and collective punishments that are wiping out villages, towns, cities, and even entire countries, are Allah's punishments of the people of these countries, even if they are Muslims."
"Some of our forefathers said that if there is usury and fornication in a certain village, Allah permits its destruction. We know that at these resorts, which unfortunately exist in Islamic and other countries in South Asia, and especially at Christmas, fornication and sexual perversion of all kinds are rampant. The fact that it happened at this particular time is a sign from Allah."
"It happened at Christmas, when fornicators and corrupt people from all over the world come to commit fornication and sexual perversion. That's when this tragedy took place, striking them all and destroyed everything. It turned the land into wasteland, where only the cries of the ravens are heard. I say this is a great sign and punishment on which Muslims should reflect."
Ah, yes, Christmas! That time of year when observant Christians gather around a dead tree and eat candy out of their socks, before venturing out into the world to seek fornication and perversion of all kinds.
And the fact that it happened at this particular time is a sign from Allah, notes the cleric. Exactly one year and fifty-eight minutes prior, Allah sent another Christmas earthquake which destroyed the Muslim city of Bam in Iran and killed tens of thousands of Muslims. Who sent that 'sign'?
(Hey, I think I know how to win this war! Let's all sit around dead trees and eat candy out of our socks EVERY DAY. Allah will get so mad there won't be any Muslims left to join terror groups!)
Al-Majd TV also featured an interview with Saudi cleric Muhammad Al-Munajjid.
"The problem is that the [Christian] holidays are accompanied by forbidden things, by immorality, abomination, adultery, alcohol, drunken dancing, and … and revelry."
"A belly dancer costs 2500 pounds per minute and a singer costs 50,000 pounds per hour, and they hop from one hotel to another from night to dawn. Then he spends the entire night defying Allah."
(Did YOU know the exact price demanded by belly dancers? Wonder how HE did?)
In any case, this particular Saudi cleric was a bit challenged when it comes to either the date of Christmas or the date of the tsunami.
"Those celebrating spent what they call 'New Year's Eve' in vacation resorts, pubs, and hotels. Allah struck them with an earthquake. . . ."
"It was said that they were tourists on New Year's vacation who went to the crowded coral islands for the holiday period, and then they were struck by this earthquake, caused by the Almighty Lord of the worlds."
"He showed them his wrath and his strength. He showed them his vengeance. Is there anyone learning the lesson? Is it impossible that we will be struck like them?" (Uh, no. Ask Indonesia and Somalia)
"Why do we go their way? Why do we want to be like them, with their holidays, their forbidden things, and their heresy?" (Who could afford 2500 pounds a minute?)
And New Year's Day was a week AFTER Allah showed us his 'wrath and his strength and his vengeance'. (If you are wanting to be like us with our holidays, our forbidden things and our heresy [like eating candy out of our socks] you're gonna HAVE to buy yourself a calendar)
An editorialist in an Egyptian nationalist weekly, "Al-Usbu" said there were TWO possible reasons for the killer waves.
The first, of course, was that Allah was really mad at the tree-ringing, sock-defiling Christian revelers committing all manner of heresy and so he destroyed a hundred thousand Muslim lives to teach us a lesson.
"The second possibility is that it was some kind of human intervention that destabilized the tectonic plates, an intervention that is caused only in nuclear experiments and explosions."
"The three most recent tests appeared to be genuine American and Israeli preparations to act together with India to test a way to liquidate humanity."
Assessment:
It's hard to figure out which is the most reasonable explanation.
Either Allah visited the greatest amount of destruction upon Muslims in order to get revenge on a couple dozen Christians and Jews, or that India, Israel and America are planning to 'liquidate humanity'.
It is unclear whether India, America and Israel are planning self-liquidation in the process, but that's not important now.
What IS important, according to the Egyptian account, is that "in the most recent test, they began destroying entire cities over extensive areas."
You DO remember when all those cities were recently nuked by the Indo-American-Israeli military alliance, don't you?
No? Well, no matter, this guy does.
". . . there is evidence that the recent nuclear tests, the exchange of nuclear experts between India and Israel, and the American pressure on Pakistan regarding its nuclear cooperation with Asian and Islamic countries [by providing India with advanced nuclear technology in an attempt to stop Pakistani activity] - all these pose a big question mark regarding the causes of the severe earthquake in Asia."
A HUGE question mark, no doubt. If the nuclear tests weren't enough to 'destroy entire cities over extensive areas' we can ALL agree that trying to keep Pakistan from proliferation of nuclear weaponry to Islamic countries could certainly be a secondary cause of a 9.1 earthquake and a massive, killer tsunami.
If Islamic countries ALL had nukes to test, well, the damage wouldn't have been nearly so bad . . . or something.
Well, maybe there might be one OTHER explanation. It COULD be that the earthquake and tsunami were somehow related to the region's nickname, "The Ring of Fire" -- so-called because it is one of the most geologically unstable areas on earth.
But THAT explanation is worth bupkiss for inciting the Muslim masses to rise up and kill Christians and Jews in retaliation for being Christians and Jews and not Muslims.
Ok, to forestall a new onslaught of hate mail accusing me of having no compassion for the victims, let me say this: I am not being flippant with the disaster.
I cringe when I think about it, and I've wept many tears for its victims. But it is impossible to relay Islam's 'compassionate' explanation for the catastrophe with a straight face.
Unfortunately, these Islamic clerics had no difficulty with it. It was 'Allah the Compassionate' who did it in order to 'get' Christians and Jews, and the fact that he chose a region of the world where Christianity and Judaism are practically non-existent is no barrier to this line of logic.
(Maybe Allah doesn't know where the San Andreas fault is? Someone should point out to Allah that there are LOTS more Christians and Jews living in California than in mainly-Muslim Southeast Asia)
It is a testimony to the hatred Islam holds towards the other alleged 'People of the Book' that such 'logic' as espoused here could gain an audience.
The great myth among Americans and Israelis is that only a tiny majority of Islam is militant, and that only a tiny majority of Islam hates Israel and America enough to see them destroyed.
The rest, we are assured, are adherents to a religion of 'peace and love' not unlike that found in the Judeo-Christian ethic and that Muslims worship the same God as Christians and Jews but call him by a different name.
According to the Koran, Jews are descended from monkeys and pigs, and Christians are infidels who should be beheaded, crucified and/or have our hands and feet cut off.
Islam claims its descendancy from Abraham through his eldest son, Ishmael.
The angel of the Lord told Ishmael's mother, Hagar, that "I will multiply thy seed exceedingly, that it shall not be numbered for multitude." (Genesis 16:10)
According to the Bible, Ishmael "will be a wild man; his hand will be against every man, and every man's hand against him; and he shall dwell in the presence of all his brethren." (Genesis 16:12)
God told Abraham, "And I will give unto thee, and to thy seed after thee, the land wherein thou art a stranger, all the land of Canaan, for an everlasting possession; and I will be their God." (Genesis 17:8)
When God told Abraham that the covenant promises would by-pass Ishmael and flow through his second son, Isaac, Abraham pleaded with God, saying, "O that Ishmael might live before Thee!"
The Lord replied, "And as for Ishmael, I have heard thee: Behold, I have blessed him, and will make him fruitful, and will multiply him exceedingly; twelve princes shall he beget, and I will make him a great nation."
"But My covenant will I establish with Isaac. . ." (Genesis 17:18,20-22)
The West doesn't understand the nature of the conflict -- really, Israel doesn't fully grasp it, either. The conflict isn't between the descendents of two brothers. It isn't between the Palestinians and Jews, or even between Israel and the Arab world.
(Iran is Israel's most dangerous and implacable enemy, but Iranians aren't Arabs, they are ethnic Persians).
Instead, it is a conflict of the spiritual forces behind Islam against the spiritual forces of Judeo-Christianity, spilling out into the here and now in the last days. It won't be settled by diplomacy. It won't be settled by negotiated settlements. It won't be settled by appeasement.
How do you appease a worldview that believes Allah hates Christians and Jews so much that he would visit death and destruction on 100,000 Muslims -- just to get a few Christians and Jews? A worldview that defines such illogic as a "law of equilibrium"?
Instead, according to Bible prophecy, the conflict which began at Abraham's encampment near the Dead Sea four thousand years ago will be settled on the plains of Megiddo in this generation.
"Verily I say unto you, This generation shall not pass, till ALL these things be fulfilled." (Matthew 24:34)
