"38 years"
Dear John,
I am sorry that I wasn't more specific
when I wrote on the 38 years. I was writing in "general terms" expecting
the Doves to study it out for themselves. But....
To be specific:
Israel left Egypt and traveled to
Mt. Sinai, reaching there in two months just as is stated in the Scriptures.
They remained in and around Mt Sinai for two years. Then they were
instructed to travel to Kadesh Barnea, where they were to launch their
invasion of the Promised Land. Instead, after the 10 spies brought
back an evil report upon the land, they rebelled against the stated will
of God, and He caused them to wander in the wilderness for thirty-eight
more years. See
Deuteronomy 2:14.
Now is this plain enough for everyone?
If it's not, read Numbers 33. It will give you a move by move (you
know, like a blow by blow) description and you can fill in the time periods
by STUDY. Ok?

Thanks, Pastor Riley. It's much clearer now. :)
