"The Significance Of The Menstrous Woman"

Dear John,

Here is another tidbit from God's Word that some of the Doves may appreciate.

In Lamentations 1:17 it is specifically stated that "Jerusalem is as a menstrous woman among them."  The context of the verse is talking about Zion, Jacob, and the "adversaries" of Israel and the Jewish people.  In the midst of all these concerned parties Jerusalem is like a menstrous woman in that blood continually pours forth in the controversy over Jerusalem and who will possess it.
Now carefully study Matthew 9:18-26, Mark 5:21-43, and Luke 8:41-56.  Notice in particular the woman with the "issue of blood."  In other words, this woman had been menstruating nonstop for twelve years.  There is no question in my mind that this woman is a type of Jerusalem.  And how long has the controversy over Jerusalem been going on?   The real bloody controversy over who would control Jerusalem began just twelve years ago.  Remember?  That was 1993, the year that Rabin of Israel and Arafat of the PLO signed the rotten, deceitful Oslo Accords.  There has been nothing but bloodshed since that day.  God have mercy!
And He will!  Just as the Lord healed the woman after she had suffered for twelve years with her "issue of blood," so the Lord is going to heal Jerusalem this year, 2005.  He will do so by sending back to Jerusalem His "two witnesses" and saving 144,000 Jews.  Glory!  And it will take place this year.  2005 - 12 = 1993.
Just coincidence how this works out?  I don't think so!  This is just another indication that the rapture of God's people and the beginning of the Tribulation is right at the door, staring humanity in the face.
May I point out that the crossing of the Jordan by Israel at the end of 38 years and the healing of the menstrous woman at the end of 12 years both coincide in the same prophetic time period when studying Bible types.  Both types prophetically point to Israel entering upon their Kingdom promises in 2005, after which they will have to fight a seven year war to subdue their enemies.  But with the Lord again fighting for Israel, the outcome is certain.  Glory!
Folks, God's people (those truly saved) are going home very soon.  Then the torch of faith will pass back to Israel.  Praise God!  Are you ready?  Are you truly saved?
May God grant every reader His grace is our prayer.
