According to the article below on this page "Rabbi Yosef Dayan from Psagot, known for his recent threats to place a death curse on Prime Minister Ariel Sharon, is said to be a leading candidate to become the "king of Israel."   Could he possibly be the antichrist or the false prophet although a lot of people believe that a future Pope will be the false prophet?  The article also states "According to a group of 71 Jewish scholars who met this week in the Old City of Jerusalem in the form of a modern-day Sanhedrin – a duplicate of the religious tribunal which convened during the time of the Second Temple – a coronation day is growing closer."

Isn't it interesting that this Rabbi's last name of Dayan means "judge," which I found out from an internet search, and Dayan also sort of looks like the word "Dan."  According to Gen. 49:16 "Dan shall judge his people as one of the tribes of Israel." I also found out the following information about him from a link at http://www.malchut-israel.org/lishka.htm#yda which says "he is the author of Throne and Crown, a book aimed to promote the Reinstatement of the Kingship in Israel.  Yosef Dayan is a member of the Senate of Lishkat HaGazit.  He was born in Mexico City and came to Israel in 1968. He is a scholar who has published several volumes of the hugh enterprise Mikraot Gedolat Haketer, the new edition of the Tanach.  He has also translated the best of Spanish literature in Hebrew. Currently living in Pesogat, he was for many years Rabbi Meir Kahane's right hand man.  He is a prominent member of the Dayan family of Aleppo, who claim descent from King David."  There is more information about him on another page, but I can't read it because it is written in Hebrew.
