Here are just a few thoughts about the December 26th tsunami:The Hebrew spelling and numberical value of tsunami is: Thet + Samech + Vau
+ Num + Aleph + Mem + Yod = 176 by addition and = 6480 by multiplication.
The number 176 = 11 x 16. We should remember that number 11 represents
"disorder and judgment" and number 16 represents "love" in Biblical
numerics. I think that this tsunami represents both God's judgment against
sinners and His love for sinners. We know that the various countries that
were affected by this tsunami were very active in persecution of Christians.
I think that God just had enough of this; afterall, God loves His own
children. So I think that this tsunami represents God's fierce anger
against the peoples who were persecuting His children. On the other hand, I
think that this tsunami also represents God's love to these people. We
notice that primarily Christian countries and peoples are responding to this
tragedy with material aid, and hopefully, spiritual aid. This may be a wide
open door for Christians to distribute Bibles and to offer the gospel to
these lost peoples. Notice too that a lot of the victims of this tsunami
were children. We believe that children under the age of accountability are
saved. Could it be that all these children are a "spiritual sacrifice to
the LORD"? We know that the scriptures teach that God finds pleasure in the
death of His children. I checked the scriptural phrase "wave offering
before the LORD" and I found 11 occurences from Genesis to Revelation.
Could it be that these precious young children are a "wave offering before
the LORD"? This could be another spiritual application to this scriptural
phrase.The number 6480 = 27 x 24 x 10. This reminds me that the number 27
represents "preaching the gospel" and the number 24 represents "the
priesthood" and the number 10 represents "testimony". Thus, these numbers
remind me that as a result of this tsunami tragedy, now Christians "the
priesthood of believers" have a golden opportunity to "preach the gospel"
and to "give their testimony" for the LORD.
