Hello Jon......last year I worked out the numbers regarding Hosea's "two days", thinking the Feast of Trumpets would see the Lord's coming.....I have updated it to this year's Pentecost.......you might be intrigued.......
Thank you........YSIC Arlene

After Two Days…………………………………..Hosea 6:2 After two days will he revive us: in the third day he will raise us up, and we shall live in his sight. 3 Then shall we know, if we follow on to know the LORD: his going forth is prepared as the morning; and he shall come unto us as the rain, as the latter and former rain unto the earth.
The latter rain in Israel comes in the spring (His first coming)..(spring feasts)
The former rain comes in fall..........(his second coming) (fall feasts)God says in the word that there will be two days that Israel will be "down, out-of-favor", and they will be revived in the 3rd day. When does this 2-day period start?
(2000 years, for "with God one day is as 1000 years..." We know when it ends, for the word says "after two days".........that is, after 2000 years.....Daniel was told what would "befall his people" that "70 weeks are determined for your people" to seal up all the prophecy....etc......70 X 7 = 490 years. for the entire 70 weeks.
He was told that after 69 of these weeks that "Messiah would be cut off" (crucified).
23 At the beginning of thy supplications the commandment F67 came forth, and I am come to shew thee; for thou art greatly beloved: therefore understand the matter, and consider the vision. 24 Seventy weeks are determined upon thy people and upon thy holy city, to finish F68 the transgression, and to make an end of sins, and to make reconciliation for iniquity, and to bring in everlasting righteousness, and to seal up the vision and prophecy, and to anoint the most Holy. 25 Know therefore and understand, that from the going forth of the commandment to restore and to build Jerusalem unto the Messiah the Prince shall be seven weeks, and threescore and two weeks: the street shall be built F69 again, and the wall, even in troublous times. 26 And after threescore and two weeks shall Messiah be cut off, but not for himself:
Fine, so after 69 of these 70 weeks, Christ will be crucified. That finishes all that Daniel has to say about counting Israel's 70 weeks, and we all know that "one more week" or 7 years yet remains to be determined for them until the end.
Get this. First what was the real date of the crucifixion?
Astronomers 'pinpoint time and date of crucifixion and resurrection'
Two Romanian astronomers say their research shows Christ died at 3pm on a Friday, and rose again at 4am on a Sunday.Liviu Mircea and Tiberiu Oproiu claim to have pinpointed the exact time and date of Christ's crucifixion and resurrection. The pair, from the Astronomic Observatory Institute in Cluj, Romania, say Jesus died at 3pm on Friday, April 3, 33 AD, and rose again at 4am on Sunday, April 5.They used a computer programme to check biblical references against historical astronomical data. Also when using prophecy we must always use the Hebrew calendar of 360 days per year and not our Gregorian calendar. So we must transpose to Hebrew prophetic years of 360 days.
Now, using Daniel's cut-off point for Israel (Messiah shall be cut off) as a starting date, and that date is April 3, 33 A.D. And coming up to April 3, 2005 anniversary of that April 3 date, we get 2005 minus 33 = l972 Gregorian years of 365.25. Turning that into Hebrew prophetic years of 360 each, we find out how many Gregorian days there are first.......l972 X 365.25 = 720,273, and then divide that by Hebrew/prophetic years of 360..........720,273 / 360 = 2000.75. We can see that we have reached the two thousand years (two days), for Israel to lifted up. But, we have to add the days from April 3 in 2005, until Pentecost in 2005, which is on about June 13, 2005 . So, we have 27 days in April, 31 days in May,13 days in June, So we add these 71 days to the 720,273 and we get 720,344, and then divide that by the Hebrew/prophetic year of 360 which equals 2000.96. (just over two days) So, we find ourselves at the Feast of Pentecost this year, just into the beginning of the "third day" of Hosea.
Conclusion: He is very near, at the door..............................
__________________Hos 6:3 Then shall we know, if we follow on to know the LORD: his going forth is prepared as the morning; and he shall come unto us as the rain, as the latter and former rain unto the earth.
“his going forth is prepared as the morning”……(this means the morning of the 3rd big day….., or, after the 2000 years are fully gone. ) “he shall come unto us as the rain, as the latter and former rain unto the earth”…
Peter on Pentecost morning in AD 33, shouted out to the crowds after he had received the Holy Spirit, that it was fulfilled as being Hosea’s ---and then shall I pour out my Spirit, etc.,---
so, if the Holy Spirit came that way on Pentecost as the former rain and as the latter rain, then that should mean that His second coming will be like the first coming i.e., on Pentecost, as the latter rain. )
