Hi my Brothers. I just love this site. I have a question.
Both of my sons were dedicated to Christ when they
were 6 & 9 years of age. Unfortunately they got hurt
in Sunday School. You see their mother died at age 32
of cancer when the children were very young. The teacher
was talking about being born again to get into heaven.
My sons mentioned that their mother had died and was in
heaven. He asked my sons if she had been born again and
my sons said that they didn,t know, but that they were looking
forward to meeting her again in heaven. The teacher told them
that their mother was not in heaven because she was not born
again. After class they came crying to me that their mother was
not in heaven and that they would not see her again. Needless
to say I was flabbergasted and went off to give the teacher a
piece of my mind. How can people say that she was not born again.
We don,t know what happens seconds after we die. Only God knows the
heart. Any way my son who is now 33 told me last year that he was an
atheist. Because he was dedicated to the Lord when he was just a child
is their any hope that he will be saved when the Lord does come back.
If any one has an answer I would really like to know. Both my sons have
not been back to church since the episode in Sunday School.
I am very worried and would like to hear from some one to give me
hope about my son.   Thank you
