Psalm 68:18 reads as follows:

"Thou (Jesus) hast ascended on high, thou hast led captivity captive:
thou hast received gifts for men; yea, for the rebellious also, that
the LORD God might dwell among them."

Most Bible students should recognize that as the source of Ephesians 4:8.

I wondered if, since this verse is about the Lord Jesus ascending,
numbers known to be associated with that topic would appear readily.

starting from the bottom and "ascending" as it were, the running total
of the last eight words =

correct!

This is Enoch's Strong's hebrew number, 2585 h.

the word that total ends with is:

Strong's 3947h Laqach, meaning to snatch, take, seize, lay hold of etc.

This is the same word found in Genesis 5:24, where God "takes" Enoch:

"And Enoch walked with God: and he was not; for God took (3947h laqach) him."

note also that my other post on Psalm 68:14, that the total of the

this is Enoch's greek gematria.

theoretical indicator that the USA (1776) is removed from being a
kingdom at the time of the "taking" or Rapture.
