Steven - thank you for that post.  I have long long believed that the USA is "mystery Babylon" for the very reasons you listed.  Also it seems that the chaldeans referred to in scripture ended up in the USA - and yes indeed she is the only super power of the world that has a "Mother" - being Great Britain.
Thank you for a succint and well informed post.  Unfortunately most don't want to hear it - but they need fear not - we are not appointed to God's Wrath.  Amen!
