What an unusual place you find yourself in...looking expectantly for the return of our Lord and Savior and the birth of your child.  I agree with your sentiment of how casually many regard His imminent return.  I had a friend, an unmarried man in his 50's, state that he hope The Lord does not come back until 2025 because he wants to enjoy his retirement and there is no sex in Heaven...and he he claims to love God and devoted a lot of time to researching scripture on the topic. I was appalled and thought how this attitude must grieve God...with all He gave to buy our salvation and my friend isn't quite ready to relinquish the low living of this earth. I believe within a short time we will be begging and crying out to God to bring us home!
