You used scriptures out of context and as a result gave probably scared a lot of good Christians who love God and struggle with a WORKS mentality.
Here's the actual scriptures you used.
Luke 21:26 Men's hearts failing them for fear, and for looking after those things which are coming on the earth: for the powers of heaven shall be shaken.
Luke 21:27 And then shall they see the Son of man coming in a cloud with power and great glory.
Luke 21:36 Watch ye therefore, and pray always, that ye may be accounted worthy to escape all these things that shall come to pass, and to stand before the Son of man.
Men's hearts will NOT be failing them for fear at the time of the rapture.
WHY...because scripture says so.
Mat 24:37 But as the days of Noah were, so shall also the coming of the Son of man be.
Mat 24:38 For as in the days that were before the flood they were eating and drinking, marrying and giving in marriage, until the day that Noah entered into the ark.
NO hearts failing here...
This section of Luke is speaking of the second coming at the end of the tribulation when ALL will see the Son of man coming in a cloud with power and great glory. It is NOT happening at the rapture when He will not be seen by all. Jesus was talking to the Jews who would have to pray always, that they may be accounted worthy to escape all these things, since they are not covered by the blood of Jesus and God hath not appointed us to wrath, but to obtain salvation by our Lord Jesus Christ. Christians ARE worthy through the blood of Jesus and as long as they have a relationship with Jesus, they WILL be raptured.
The Rapture is NOT a GIFT. It's a manifestation of the LOVE OF GOD.
