All Fairy Tales have one thing at its very core.   A beautiful fair maiden waiting for her prince to come and take her away to a far away castle to live happily ever after.   Now the core of this is that the human soul wants our God, our Savior to rescue His bride and to take us home on His white horse in the glorious rapture.    Jesus is the true prince charming of EVERY fairy tale.   What a wonderful way to read a story book to a little girl.
