"Three songs that represent the end times for me "

John and fellow doves,

Back in Feb 1997 when I became a christian, I also started studying the End times in Daniel, Revelation, and other books.  Three songs came out from 1997 onwards that I liked, and it seemed ok to me to associate them with three major topics.

1. Hitching a Ride from Greenday  This song embodies the Tribulation.  There is a point in the song in where it changes to a different feeling altogether and is changed for the rest of the music.  Daniel 12 talks about this time as "And there shall be a time of trouble, Such as never was since there was a nation, Even to that time."

2. Closing Time by Semisonic The rapture is for this song.  Also, in the middle of this song, you can tell what part signifies the Rapture.  It has a higher tone.  Even the lyrics sort of makes sense.  "Every new beginning comes from some other beginning's end."  "I know who I want to take me home"

3. SimCity 4: Rush Hour - Wheels of Progress  The Second Coming of the Lord Jesus Christ is beautifully represented in this work of art.  This song uses horns to stand for something, and I figured it can tell us when "Every eye shall see him, and they also which pierced him: and all kindreds of the earth shall wail because of him. Even so, Amen."

I just know that this generation will see "Jesus Christ coming in the Clouds of Heaven with Great power and glory"  I just know it.  There is just too many signs for us to ignore, like with Iran.
