"Isaiah 63:1--Bozrah/Petra"

Hello, John and Doves,
"Who [is] this that cometh from Edom, with dyed garments from Bozrah? this [that is] glorious in his apparel, travelling in the greatness of his strength? 'I that speak in righteousness, mighty to save.' "
Isaiah 63:1
Much has been written of the children of Israel fleeing to the eastern wilderness, to find refuge in the ancient fortress of Petra.  In fact, Petra is in the same location as Bozrah and Kadesh-Barnea.
The meaning of Bozrah is sheep pen.  The sheep expect to see their Shepherd on a regular basis, even if He is looking for a lost lamb.
As it turns out, true Israel will meet up with our LORD in Petra.
"He will feed his flock like a shepherd. He will carry the lambs in his arms, holding them close to his heart. He will gently lead the mother sheep with their young."
Isaiah 40:11
Now, Isaiah 63:1 maps onto the 63rd book of the Bible, 2 John.
"Having many things to write unto you, I would not [write] with paper and ink: but I trust to come unto you, and speak face to face, that our joy may be full."
2 John 12
"That our joy may be full" is a remez to the Song of Songs.
"Until the day break, and the shadows flee away, turn, my beloved, and be thou like a roe or a young hart upon the mountains of Bether."
Song of Songs 2:17
This, in turn, is a pointer to both Joel and Zechariah.
"I will also gather all nations, and will bring them down into the valley of Jehoshaphat, and will plead with them there for my people and [for] my heritage Israel, whom they have scattered among the nations, and parted my land."
Joel 3:2
"Multitudes, multitudes in the valley of decision: for the day of the LORD [is] near in the valley of decision.
"The sun and the moon shall be darkened, and the stars shall withdraw their shining.
"The LORD also shall roar out of Zion, and utter his voice from Jerusalem; and the heavens and the earth shall shake: but the LORD [will be] the hope of his people, and the strength of the children of Israel."
Joel 3:14-16
And his feet shall stand in that day upon the mount of Olives, which [is] before Jerusalem on the east, and the mount of Olives shall cleave in the midst thereof toward the east and toward the west, [and there shall be] a very great valley; and half of the mountain shall remove toward the north, and half of it toward the south."
Zechariah 14:4
These things I write so that you know that the LORD has fully invested the honor of His Name to the fact that He is coming again.  This time, He will judge the nations in the newly formed Valley of Jehoshaphat [Joel 3:2], which will lie between the mountains of Bether [Songs 2:17, Zechariah 14:4].  The Valley of Jehoshaphat is same as the Valley of Decision [Joel 3:14].
Jesus' Second Coming is as sure as His Name--"YHWH saves."
It is written,
"I bow before your holy Temple as I worship. I praise your name for your unfailing love and faithfulness; for your promises are backed by all the honor of your name."
Psalm 138:2
"Wherefore God also hath highly exalted him, and given him a name which is above every name:
"That at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, of [things] in heaven, and [things] in earth, and [things] under the earth;
"And [that] every tongue should confess that Jesus Christ [is] Lord, to the glory of God the Father."
