"A straight highway instead of the old, crooked one."

Hello, John and Doves,
Here is a scripture that joins the first and second comings of our LORD and Savior, Jesus Christ.
"The voice of him that crieth in the wilderness [John the Baptist], Prepare ye the way of the LORD, make straight in the desert a highway for our God [the modern Desert Highway in Jordan]."
"Every valley shall be exalted, and every mountain and hill shall be made low: and the crooked shall be made straight, and the rough places plain:
"And the glory of the LORD shall be revealed, and all flesh shall see [it] together: for the mouth of the LORD hath spoken [it]."
Isaiah 40:3-5
There is today a straight highway that goes alongside the old King's Highway.

"There are two routes connecting Amman with the south of Jordan: the Desert Highway and the King’s Highway. If your time is limited, use the straighter and faster Desert Highway. However, by far the more interesting route is the King’s Highway, which twists and winds its way through the heart of Jordan, connecting Madaba, Karak, Tafileh, Shobak and Petra. The King’s Highway is the world’s oldest continuously used communication route, and is mentioned early in the Bible. In Numbers 20, Moses requests the king of Edom to allow his people to 'travel along the king’s highway and not turn to the right or to the left until we have passed through your territory.'  [Numbers 20:17]

We are in the time of the LORD's return to rescue His people, Eretz Israel.
