"Plans within plans..."

Hello, John and Doves,

If you are a Dune series lover, then you know the catch phrase that describes all politics--"plans within plans."

However, it is written,

"You can make many plans, but the LORD's purpose will prevail."  Proverbs 19:21 NLT

This is to say that the LORD has plans of His own.

"Remember the former things of old: for I [am] God, and [there is] none else; [I am] God, and [there is] none like me,

"Declaring the end from the beginning, and from ancient times [the things] that are not [yet] done, saying, My counsel shall stand, and I will do all my pleasure:

"Calling a ravenous bird from the east, the man that executeth my counsel from a far country: yea, I have spoken [it], I will also bring it to pass; I have purposed [it], I will also do it."

Isaiah 46:9-11

When we are in serious trouble, we need to remember to praise God.
As Dumbledore said,
"Happiness can be found, even in the darkest of times, if one only remembers to turn on the light."
[from The Prisoner of Azkaban, screenplay by Steve Kloves, based on a novel by J.K. Rowling]
He was talking about the Patronus charm, "Expecto Patronum."

That is a remez to Psalm 22 and Nehemiah 8:10
"Then he said unto them, Go your way, eat the fat, and drink the sweet, and send portions unto them for whom nothing is prepared: for [this] day [is] holy unto our Lord: neither be ye sorry; for the joy of the LORD is your strength."
Nehemiah 8:10

"[[To the chief Musician upon Aijeleth Shahar, A Psalm of David.]] My God, my God, why hast thou forsaken me? [why art thou so] far from helping me, [and from] the words of my roaring?
"O my God, I cry in the daytime, but thou hearest not; and in the night season, and am not silent.
"But thou [art] holy, [O thou] that inhabitest the praises of Israel.
"Our fathers trusted in thee: they trusted, and thou didst deliver them.
"They cried unto thee, and were delivered: they trusted in thee, and were not confounded."
Psalm 22:1-5

Remember to turn on the light!
