Hello, John and Doves,
Why is there all this fuss about Superstring Theory?
Methinks HaSatan thinks that he has found a cosmic loophole, namely:
"Thus saith the Lord, 'If heaven above can be measured, and the foundations of the earth searched out beneath, I will also cast off all the seed of Israel for all that they have done,' saith the Lord" (Jer. 31:37).
The devil would love to be able to figure out just how the universe ticks. He's ticked off, because he has no corporeal body. He literally cannot get a handle on space-time. Even possession warps perception, so he'll be no better off possessing the AC. Bottom line? He can't win for losing. He doesn't realize that the universe is a circus, and Jesus is the ringmaster! Numbers can be made to do the most amazing things!
Not only that, but HaShem is never taken by surprise when someone comes upon a "discovery."
It is written,
"[It is] the glory of God to conceal a thing: but the honour of kings [is] to search out a matter."
What HaSatan does not realize is that he is a mere prince--the prince of darkness [abject ignorance].
For all his knowledge, he can't add two and two.
It is written,
"The fear of the LORD [is] the beginning of knowledge: [but] fools despise wisdom and instruction."
Again it is written,
"The fear of the LORD [is] the beginning of wisdom: a good understanding have all they that do [his commandments]: his praise endureth for ever." Psalm 111:10
So, then, it is as was said of old,
"Behold, his soul [which] is lifted up is not upright in him: but the just shall live by his faith."
What does our faith tell us?
9 "The Lord is not slack concerning his promise, as some men count slackness; but is longsuffering to us-ward, not willing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance.
10 "But the day of the Lord will come as a thief in the night; in the which the heavens shall pass away with a great noise, and the elements shall melt with fervent heat, the earth also and the works that are therein shall be burned up.
11 "[Seeing] then [that] all these things shall be dissolved, what manner [of persons] ought ye to be in [all] holy conversation and godliness,
12 "Looking for and hasting unto the coming of the day of God, wherein the heavens being on fire shall be dissolved, and the elements shall melt with fervent heat?
13 "Nevertheless we, according to his promise, look for new heavens and a new earth, wherein dwelleth righteousness.
14 "Wherefore, beloved, seeing that ye look for such things, be diligent that ye may be found of him in peace, without spot, and blameless." 2 Peter 3:9-14
With eyes of faith, we seek after His righteousness.
It is written,
5 " 'Behold, the days come,' saith the LORD, 'that I will raise unto David a righteous Branch, and a King shall reign and prosper, and shall execute judgment and justice in the earth.
6 " 'In his days Judah shall be saved, and Israel shall dwell safely: and this [is] his name whereby he shall be called, THE LORD OUR RIGHTEOUSNESS [YHWH Tsidkenu].
7 " 'Therefore, behold, the days come,' saith the LORD, 'that they shall no more say, The LORD liveth, which brought up the children of Israel out of the land of Egypt;
8 " 'But, The LORD liveth, which brought up and which led the seed of the house of Israel out of the north country, and from all countries whither I had driven them; and they shall dwell in their own land.' " Jeremiah 23:5-8
Of the eventual salvation of Israel, it is written,
25 "For I would not, brethren, that ye should be ignorant of this mystery, lest ye should be wise in your own conceits; that blindness in part is happened to Israel, until the fulness of the Gentiles be come in.
26 "And so all Israel shall be saved: as it is written, There shall come out of Sion the Deliverer, and shall turn away ungodliness from Jacob:
27 "For this [is] my covenant unto them, when I shall take away their sins.
28 "As concerning the gospel, [they are] enemies for your sakes: but as touching the election, [they are] beloved for the fathers' sakes.
29 "For the gifts and calling of God [are] without repentance.
30 "For as ye in times past have not believed God, yet have now obtained mercy through their unbelief:
31 "Even so have these also now not believed, that through your mercy they also may obtain mercy.
32 "For God hath concluded them all in unbelief, that he might have mercy upon all.
33 "O the depth of the riches both of the wisdom and knowledge of God! how unsearchable [are] his judgments, and his ways past finding out!
34 "For who hath known the mind of the Lord? or who hath been his counsellor?
35 "Or who hath first given to him, and it shall be recompensed unto him again?
36 "For of him, and through him, and to him, [are] all things: to whom [be] glory for ever. Amen." Romans 11:25-36
Yea, the promises of Adonai Roi are forever.
19 "For the Son of God, Jesus Christ, who was preached among you by us, [even] by me and Silvanus and Timotheus, was not yea and nay, but in him was yea.
20 "For all the promises of God in him [are] yea, and in him Amen, unto the glory of God by us.
21 "Now he which stablisheth us with you in Christ, and hath anointed us, [is] God;
22 "Who hath also sealed us, and given the earnest of the Spirit in our hearts."
2 Corinthians 1:19-22
