"A priest had two dogs..."

Hello, John and Doves,

For you Catholic lot [just kidding]:

A priest had two dogs who both outlived their master.
He died, and was buried in a crypt below his beloved parish chapel.

What were the names of his dogs?

Answer:  Their names were "Goodness" and "Mercy."

For it is written,

"Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me all the days of my life: and I will dwell in the house of the LORD for ever."

Psalm 23:6

Baruch HaShem Adonai Roi [Blessed be the Name,"The LORD is my Shepherd."],
