Scripture says that the city will have no "need" of the sun...  Not that there will not be any sun.  Much like someone turning on a flashlite in the middle of the day with the sun high overhead ~ there is no "need" of the flashlite, even though it is on.  (You cannot see it.)  That is God's glory ~ there will be no "need" of the sun, but the sun will still be in full shine.  We won't be able to see it because of the glory of God!  Praise the Lord!!!  :)
