"Barry and the Wonka Factory"

Barry:
Having seen both of the movies and read the book several times I can
only drag out the ole soap box climb on up and shout "WELL DONE' Your
letter is an awesome outline of the whole story.

The book goes into more detail about the grandparents (by the children
they will be saved) who all slept all day in one bed and the parents
who worked so hard but had nothing to show for it. They ate cabbage
soup.

You really should read the book. If you have grand kids or even
neighborhood kids that you could get to sit still for awhile, read it
out loud to them. It is not a long book. My third grade teacher read
it to us during story time, the first time I heard it. She also read
us A Wrinkle in Time and James and the Giant Peach. Funny to me that I
still remember these stories of all of the books that I have heard or
read my self. I am almost 52 this year. We grew up mostly overseas so
never really had television until I was in high school - so my sisters
and I read a lot!

Thanks so much for sharing the analysis.
