I agree that the spirit guides are calling the shots, but I was wondering about the human factors, the actual decision makers after the guidelines have been issued.  For something like the Illuminati to continue through the generations, there must be a spiritual influence to prevent deviation from the planned outcome. 

Perhaps there is no individual, rather a collective jostlening of decision makers who don't even realize the influence.

As to the emblem, it never occured to me that the circle with the stix coming out could actually be an "M" for Madonna.  I suppose that's what they'd claim it is should the question arise.
