Dear Doves,
 
1 Thessalonians 4:16-18
"For the Lord Himself will descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of an archangel, and with the trumpet of God. and the dead in Christ will rise first. Then we who are alive and remain shall be CAUGHT UP TOGETHER...."
 
2 Thessalonians 2:1-3
"Now, brethren, concerning the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ and OUR GATHERING TOGETHER to Him......"
 
Matthew 24:31
"And He will send His angels with a great sound of a trumpet, and they will GATHER TOGETHER HIS ELECT......."
 
Mark 13:27
"And then He will send His angels, and GATHER TOGETHER HIS ELECT....."
 
I believe that we ALL can agree that the four previous scriptures are ALL describing the 'same event' which is the rapture of the Church. Now I want to direct your attention to the Scriptures that tell us WHEN 'that event', ie. the rapture, actually occurs:
 
Matthew 24:29-31
"Immediately AFTER THE TRIBULATION of those days......At that time the sign of the Son of Man will appear in the sky....they will GATHER TOGETHER  HIS ELECT..."
 
Mark 13:24-27
"But in those days, FOLLOWING THAT TRIBULATION......At that time men will see the Son of man coming in the clouds........and GATHER TOGETHER HIS ELECT..."
 
 Where, in Scripture, can a 'pre-tribulation' rapture be justified to refute these aforementioned Scriptures that state the rapture happens AFTER or FOLLOWING "the tribulation of those days" which is referring to the "shortened" tribulation "cut short" by the rapture ?
