Let's refine that a bit. I think Psa 90:10 is talking about our life span, not a generation. It says, "The days of our years are threescore years and ten (70); and if by reason of strength they be fourscore years (80), yet is their strength labour and sorrow; for it is SOON CUT OFF, AND WE FLY AWAY."
The fig tree parable in Mt. 24:32-34 mentions a generation. According to Mt. 1:17, a generation is 48.33 years. June 5, 1967, Iyar 26, 5727, beginning of the Six-Day War, when Israel grew leaves + 48.33 years = Elul 26, 5775, which is close to Tishri 1, 5776, which I think will be the Day of God's Wrath.
The life span of the last generation would normally be 70 years. May 14, 1948, Iyar 5, 5708 + 70 = Iyar 5, 5778, Apr 20, 2018.
I think Jesus will return on the first day of a Jubilee Year, because debts will be cancelled and he will return every Hebrew to their inherited land. A Jubilee year has to follow a Sabbatic year, and 5775 is a Sabbatic Year. It divides by 7 evenly. Therefore, 5776 could be a Jubilee Year.
The Jubilee would be announced on the Day of Atonement, Tishri 10, 5776, Sept 23, 2015, and start on the following Nisan 1, 5776, Sat, April 9, 2016. I think that will be the day of the Second Advent. 5776 is a Leap Year with the 13th month. Therefore, it fits Eze. 39:12,13's 7 months that they bury the dead to cleanse the land for the Lord's return in glory on the first day of the Sacred, Regnal and Jubilee Years.
5776 - 7 = 5769
Ron Reese figured out that Joseph's family came to him in Egypt in the 2nd year of famine. If that is a type of the Rapture, as Ron thinks, we may be in the 2nd year of the Tribulation now. Will we join our our family in Heaven soon? It sure looks that way.
Sept. 14, 2015 minus the 2300 days of the shortened Tribulation (figured by inclusive reckoning, because it is a block of time) (Dan. 8:12-14) suggests that the Tribulation began on Pentecost, May 29, 2008.
May 29, 2011 (probably the 3rd year of the Tribulation) will be Ascension Day. I think that just might be the day of the First-Trump Rapture.
Remember John 4:35? Jesus had gone to the Feast of Dedication (Hanukkah). He said, "Say not ye, There are yet four months, and then cometh harvest? behold, I say unto you, Lift up your eyes, and look on the fields; for they are white already to harvest." The four months could be Teveth, Shevat, Adar I and Adar II (5771 is a Leap Year).
When those 4 months are over, the field is normally ready to harvest. The firstfruit of barley is waved before the Lord on Nisan 16, Firstfruits, the first day of the Omer.
We, like Ruth, could be the Barley Harvest. Jesus was the Firstfruits of the Barley Harvest, and we are part of the Body of Christ. He ascended on Ascension Day. Maybe we will too. The barley harvest is between Firstfruits and Pentecost. Ascension Day, when the Head of the Body of Christ ascended, sounds like a good possibility for our Rapture.
How is that as in the days of Noah? Mt 24:37-39 says, "But as the days of Noe were, so shall also the coming of the Son of man be. For as in the days that were before the flood they were eating and drinking, marrying and giving in marriage, until the day that Noe entered into the ark (i.e., on Cheshvan 17), And knew not until the flood came, and took them all away; so shall also the coming of the Son of man be."
Gen. 7:24 said, "And the waters prevailed upon the earth an hundred and fifty days." That is 5 months, estimated time, i.e., 30-day months, because Noah couldn't see the Sun or Moon yet. The 5 months could have been about half of Cheshvan, all of Kislev, Teveth, Shevat, and Adar I, then about half of Nisan. That would tie in the days of Noah in an ordinary year.
Song of Solomon 2:10-17 seems to show that the Rapture is in the spring.
It says, 10 "My beloved (Christ) spake, and said unto me, Rise up (the Rapture), my love, my fair one, and come away. 11 For, lo, the winter is past, the rain (latter rain of Nisan) is over and gone (then it is Iyar); 12 The flowers appear on the earth (April showers bring May flowers); the time of the singing of birds (the migratory turtledoves are in Israel from April to October) is come, and the voice of the turtle (lit., turtledove) is heard in our land; 13 The fig tree putteth forth her green figs, and the vines with the tender grape give a good smell (late May or early June). ARISE, MY LOVE, MY FAIR ONE, AND COME AWAY. 14 O my dove, that art in the clefts of the rock (i.e., in Jesus), in the secret places of the stairs (lit., in the secret of the stairs, i.e., like Jacob's ladder, it reaches from Earth to Heaven), let me see thy countenance, let me hear thy voice; for sweet is thy voice, and thy countenance is comely. 15 Take us the foxes, the little foxes, that spoil the vines: for our vines have tender grapes (end of May or early June). 16 My beloved (Christ) is mine, and I am his (i.e., the Bride of Christ): he feedeth among the lilies. 17 Until the day break, and the shadows flee away, turn, my beloved, and be thou like a roe or a young hart upon the mountains (plural) of Bether (separation, i.e., there are two Raptures, one on the Lord's Day, the other on the Day of the Lord)."
Micah 7:1,2 also seems to indicate a spring Rapture. It says, "Woe is me! for I am as when they have gathered the summer fruits (i.e., it is near the autumn equinox), as the grapegleanings of the vintage (the vintage starts Tishri 1, date of the second Rapture): there is no cluster to eat: my soul desired the firstripe fruit (i.e., late May or early June). The good man is perished (abad, taken, i.e., raptured) out of the earth: and there is NONE upright among men". They would have gone in the first Rapture if they were "upright."
The firstripe figs, a small crop, but the best tasting, come on in late May or early June. The large crop of figs comes on in the fall. They are not as good as the firstripe ones. We want to be classed as the "firstripe."
Thus, May 29, 2011 (Sun, Iyar 25, 5771), Ascension Day, would fit the First-Trump Rapture, and Tishri 1, 5776 (Mon, Sept 14, 2015), the Feast of Trumpets, would fit the Last-Trump Rapture.
That tallies with Rev 1:9,10. In the Preview of the Rapture, John said, 9 "I John, who also am your brother, and companion in tribulation, and in the kingdom and patience of Jesus Christ, was in the isle that is called Patmos (meaning mortal), for the word of God, and for the testimony of Jesus Christ. 10 I was (lit., became) in the Spirit on the Lord's day (Sunday), and heard behind me A GREAT VOICE, AS OF A TRUMPET, 11 Saying, I am Alpha and Omega, the first and the last" (i.e., Christ).
Surely 2011 is the year, and the Rapture will be soon.
Jesus, head of the Body of Christ ascended on the 40th day of the Omer. Ascension Day, May 29, 2011, seems reasonable for the Rapture of the Bride of Christ, which is part of the Body of Christ.
Feast Days plus counting the Omer
Purim, March 20, 2011
Passover, Nisan 14, April 18, 2011
Unleavened Bread, Nisan 15, April 19, 2011
Firstfruits, Nisan 16, April 20, 2011
April 20, 1st day of the Omer
May 29, 40th day of the Omer, Ascension Day
Of Ascension Day, Acts 1:9-12 says, "And when he (Jesus) had spoken these things, while they beheld, he was taken up; and a cloud received him out of their sight. And while they looked stedfastly toward heaven as he went up, behold, two men stood by them in white apparel; Which also said, Ye men of Galilee, why stand ye gazing up into heaven? this same Jesus, which is taken up from you into heaven, shall so come in like manner as ye have seen him go into heaven. Then returned they unto Jerusalem".

The two men may have been Moses and Elijah.

Jesus, the Head of the Body of Christ ascended on the 40th day. We are part of the Body of Christ. Will we go to New Jerusalem on Ascension Day too. I sure hope so.
