Isa 22:16-19 gives us the answer. Rev 8:8-11 and 21:18 do too. When my eyes were first opened to this, I read a tiny news filler in the Santa Ana Register newspaper. Someone had given President Truman a 22" statue of Isaiah. Why? I thought, and was shocked to attention when I looked up Isaiah 22 in my Bible. The Lord must have been behind that present.
 
Isa 22:16-19 says, "What hast thou here (Babylon)? and whom hast thou here (the Satan-possessed False Prophet), that thou hast hewed thee out a sepulchre here, as he (Satan) that heweth him out a sepulchre on high, and that graveth an habitation for himself in a rock (an asteroid, a piece of his planet Rahab that split apart and formed our Asteroid Belt)? Behold, the LORD will carry thee away with a mighty captivity, and will surely cover thee. HE WILL SURELY VIOLENTLY TURN AND TOSS THEE LIKE A BALL INTO A LARGE COUNTRY (Iraq, not tiny Israel): there (at Babylon) shalt thou die, and there the chariots of thy glory shall be the shame of thy lord's (SATAN'S) HOUSE. And I will drive thee from thy station, and from thy state shall he pull thee down."
 
Isa 51:9 says, "Awake, awake, put on strength, O arm of the LORD (the Son of God); awake, as in the ancient days, in the generations of old. Art thou not it that hath cut (lit., split) Rahab (Satan's planet), and wounded the dragon (Satan)?"
 
Rev 18:21 adds to this story. It says, "And a mighty angel took up a stone (Satan's asteroid Wormwood) like a great millstone, and cast it into the sea, saying, Thus with violence shall that great city Babylon be thrown down, and shall be found no more at all."
 
Rev 8:1-11 tells this story too. It says, "And when he had opened the seventh seal, there was silence in heaven about the space of half an hour. (There was silence on Earth too.) And I saw the seven angels which stood before God; and to them were given seven trumpets. And another angel came and stood at the altar, having a golden censer (probably a globe-shaped incense burner); and there was given unto him much incense, that he should offer it with the prayers of all saints upon the golden altar which was before the throne. And the smoke of the incense, which came with the prayers of the saints, ascended up before God out of the angel's hand. And the angel took the censer (representing the asteroid Wormwood), and filled it with fire of the altar, and CAST IT INTO THE EARTH: and there were voices, and thunderings, and lightnings, and an earthquake....And the second angel sounded, and as it were A GREAT MOUNTAIN BURNING WITH FIRE WAS CAST INTO THE SEA (the Mediterranean): and the third part of the sea became blood; And the third part of the creatures which were in the sea, and had life, died; and the third part of the ships were destroyed. And the third angel sounded, and there FELL A GREAT STAR (aster, star, meteorite or asteroid) FROM HEAVEN, burning as it were a lamp, and it fell upon the third part of the rivers, and upon the fountains of waters; And THE NAME OF THE STAR IS CALLED WORMWOOD (meaning bitter): and the third part of the waters became wormwood (BITTER); and many men died of the waters, because they were made BITTER."
 
Earth will also keep silence while Christ is seated as judge at the Judgment Seat of Christ. Hab 2:20 says, "But the LORD is in his holy temple: let all the earth keep silence before him."
 
As I understand it, when Satan's planet, Rahab, was split apart, Satan made his home on a piece of that planet, the asteroid Wormwood. This asteroid will be cast into Earth on the Day of God's Wrath.
 
Jer 51:11 says, "The Lord's "device is against Babylon, to destroy it; because it is the vengeance of the LORD, the vengeance of his temple."

Jer 51:37 says, "And Babylon shall become heaps, a dwellingplace for dragons, an astonishment, and an hissing, without an inhabitant."

Why do I go to such great lengths to tell you what Babylon has coming?

The verse that I saw a rectangle of light on in a darkened room was Jer 50:2. It says, "Declare ye among the nations, and publish, and set up a standard; publish, and conceal not: say, Babylon is taken, Bel is confounded, Merodach is broken in pieces; her idols are confounded, her images are broken in pieces."
The Lord wants us to understand what is coming upon Babylon because of Satan's sins, and it looks like it is coming in the year 5776. When the capstone of the pyramid of Giza is put in place, the pyramid will be 5776 inches tall.
 
I think the Day of God's Wrath will be the Feast of Trumpets, Tishri 1, 5776, Sept 14, 2015.

Isa 19:19 says, "In that day shall there be an altar to the LORD in the midst of the land of Egypt, and a pillar at the border thereof to the LORD."

Isa 28:21 says, "For the LORD shall rise up as in mount Perazim, he shall be wroth as in the valley of Gibeon, that he may do his work, his strange work; and bring to pass his act, his strange act."

JESUS' LONG DAY

The Old Testament type of Jesus' Long Day: Joshua 10:11 says, "And it came to pass, as they fled from before Israel, and were in the going down to Bethhoron, that THE LORD CAST DOWN GREAT STONES FROM HEAVEN UPON THEM unto Azekah, and they died: they were more which died with hailstones than they whom the children of Israel slew with the sword."

Jos 10:25 says, "And Joshua said unto them, Fear not, nor be dismayed, be strong and of good courage: for thus shall the LORD do to all your enemies against whom ye fight."

Jos 10:13,14 says, "So the sun stood still in the midst of heaven, and hasted not to go down about a whole day. And there was no day like that before it or after it, that the LORD hearkened unto the voice of a man: for the LORD fought for Israel."

The next time, the Lord will fight for Israel without "the voice of a man" asking for it. On that day, "Behold, the LORD maketh the earth empty, and maketh it waste, and turneth it upside down, and scattereth abroad the inhabitants thereof" (Isa 24:1).

Astronomers tell us that the 900-ft-wide asteroid Apophis could collide with Earth on Friday, April 13, 2036. I doubt that they will be ready to try to stop one by Sept 14, 2015. The two pieces of one will knock the Earth out of its place somewhat, but this globe will survive the collisions, one in the Mediterranean Sea, the other at Babylon, Iraq. I don't expect a collision in 2036. Maybe the Earth needs to be knocked out of Apophis' path. The Lord knows, and he won't allow it during the millennial reign of Christ.     Dear Doves,

    Acts 2:19-20
    "I will show wonders in the heaven above and signs on the earth below, blood and fire and billows of smoke. The sun will be turned to darkness and the moon to blood BEFORE the great and glorious Day of the Lord."

    Notice this Scripture's use of the word "before" as it indicates the order of occurring events.

    What causes the "blood and fire and billows of smoke" described in this Scripture?

    Could it be that the 'nuclear bomb' with which Iran has promised to destroy Israel will cause the "blood and fire and billows of smoke" in Israel at about the same time that "the sun will be turned to darkness and the moon to blood" ie. the eclipses?
