"Doves I Pray that none of you make yourselves guilty of 2 Peter 3:3-7"

Hi Doves,

We are the privileged Gentiles who have received the Word along with the New Testament and the Blessed hope of our taking out.

It was with great sadness that I picked up on a, in my mind respected, member of our Doves community living out the prophetic pronouncement of 2 Peter 3:3-7:

2Pe 3:3  Most importantly, I want to remind you that in the last days scoffers will come, mocking the truth and following their own desires.

2Pe 3:4  They will say, "What happened to the promise that Jesus is coming again? >From before the times of our ancestors, everything has remained the same since the world was first created."

2Pe 3:5  They deliberately forget that God made the heavens by the word of His command, and He brought the earth out from the water and surrounded it with water.

2Pe 3:6  Then He used the water to destroy the ancient world with a mighty flood.

2Pe 3:7  And by the same word, the present heavens and earth have been stored up for fire. They are being kept for the day of judgment, when ungodly people will be destroyed.

"Things are going on just as they always have," says the skeptic. "We've heard the prophecy update tapes. We've read The Late Great Planet Earth. But where is this Second Coming everyone keeps talking about?"—little knowing that his very scoffing fulfills Bible prophecy.

The root of skepticism and cynicism lies in a desire to follow one's flesh and fulfill one's lust. A denial of the return of Jesus allows people to live however they want because it removes accountability to the God who made them and who will return for them.

Where he trashed the blessed hope of the imminent arrival of our REDEEMER –

Regardless of what people say The rebirth of Israel on 14 May 1948 – it is THE GREATEST Prophetic Marker and Event of modern times, along with the 1967 recovery of Jerusalem heralding the coming of our MESSIAH and JESUS’ words in Matthew 24.

You must be blinded by something in the world, not to see the explosion of the Middle East – even a select number of Rabbi’s in Washington (without the luxury of the book of REVELATION and the New Testament declared the following yesterday!

RABBIS SAY ARAB UNREST SIGNALS MESSIAH COMING SOON

(Washington, D.C., February 23, 2011) -- A number of influential rabbis say unrest in the Arab world signals the coming of the War of Gog and Magog and the soon coming of the Messiah, reported a leading Israeli news service on Wednesday.

Rabbi Chaim Kanievsky, described in the Ynet article as an "unconventional Lithuanian leader who is believed to have mystic powers," recently spoke of the tumultuous events underway in Egypt, Libya, Tunisia, Iran and elsewhere in the Middle East. "People have come to me and said that it's 'Gog and Magog,'" he said. "We cannot know. But it's probable that any unrest that God creates shows that the Messiah is coming, and that we must begin to prepare for it and become stronger."

On this, I agree with Rabbi Steinman -- the War of Gog and Magog is approaching, the Messiah is coming, and we must be prepared and become stronger spiritually as the Lord's return draws near. Indeed, these will be central themes of the 2011 Epicenter Conference in Jerusalem this May. That said, I suspect the Rabbi and I disagree on the Messiah's identity. That's a good discussion to engage, particularly now. The Hebrew prophets told us the Messiah would be.....
