Mercer, This is going to sound confusing - because it is! Everything about your timeline, Pastor Mark Blitz and others, makes so much sense. However, I need to try and understand and clarify.
 
In Daniel 9:27 we have a leader who will confirm a covenant with many for one "seven". In the middle of the "seven" he will set up the abomination that causes desolation. It is my belief that this "confirming of the covenant" is going to come from Egypt. Peace in the Middle East depends on this treaty with Egypt -  imperfect as the treaty is. The second sign of the beginning of the final "week" would surely be the two witnesses of Rev 11:3 who prophesy for a thousand, two hundred and three score days. Please see the following link:

Going on this, the beginning of the final seven years are marked by the above prophesies. Forgive me if you've already covered this and I've missed it.
