"Re: Two in bed,  1 left"

To Ed and Michael,
That scripture may not necessarily mean 2 'human beings' either.  Often times we hear of a company 'in bed' with another company.  Or a nation 'in bed' with another nation.
I WONDER if the 2 in bed and the 2 women grinding at the field has something more to do with the church and Israel.
The Bride of Christ and Israel are both females.  The Bride will be with her Bridegroom (Jesus) before Israel is with her Husband (God).
The church made up of true believers will be raptured before the left behind get saved.
While I RARELY refer to the Message translation, here is Luke 17:34-39 is worded:
On that Day, two men will be in the same boat fishing—one taken, the other left. Two women will be working in the same kitchen—one taken, the other left."

Another scripture to consider in this same venue is Luke 18:10

Two men went up into the temple to pray; the one a Pharisee, and the other a publican.  Both were in the temple... could it mean two men were in the same bed ?

Just food for thought.
