Dear Susan,
As I
read Brian's comments it became clear to me that his basic views are
'universalism.' They believe God is so good that no one is going to
hell, because that is beyond His nature to do so. Yet I saw that his understanding of the Garden of Eden is a little off.
Gen 1:26-28 God gave authority to Adam to
be the "federal head of the earth." So that whatever he (Adam)said with
that "delegated authority" was so. However, in Gen 2:16-17 Adam was
given permission to eat of every tree, except the one of the knowledge
of good and evil. Then God created the woman...she was given the same
command, except it was given to her from Adam, not God directly. So
when we read Gen 3: 1
Now the serpent was more cunning than any beast of the field which the
LORD God had made. And he said to the woman, “Has God indeed said,
‘You shall not eat of every tree of the garden’?â€
2 And the woman said to the serpent, “We may eat the fruit of
the trees of the garden; 3 but of the fruit of the tree which is in the midst of the garden, God has said, ‘You shall not eat it, nor shall you touch it, lest you die.’â€
4 Then the serpent said to the woman, “You will not surely die. 5 For God knows that in the day you eat of it your eyes will be opened, and you will be like God, knowing good and evil.â€
That is not what God said, but what is even more sad about this situation is that Adam was standing there, said nothing and did not correct her. So,
what I'm saying here is that "God gave Adam and Eve a choice" and now
He gives us choices. God holds our choices just as sovereign; as He
does His own. He will not override any-ones choice, even if it grieves
Him to the depths of His Being. That is why He sent His Son, to be our
substitute, so Adam's sin would no longer be ours. Now the choice is
ours (mankind's) to make. We can choose to believe His Word and be saved
or we can choose not to believe and suffer the consequences of our
choice.
Just like a
natural father who, wants the best for his children. He cannot make
them, obey him and do what he knows is best for them...he accepts their
choices, even when it is the wrong choice.
Susan,
I pray this helps you. And in the name of Jesus, I bind the strongman
of unbelief over Brian's life. I ask You Lord Jesus to make Yourself
real to Him, now.

"HELP pleeease!!"
Hi all Doves
Please help me to answer
this CA (Candidate Attorney). My e-mail to him and his response. How
do I make him see that he needs a saviour, Jesus in his short life?
God bless you all and see you soon.

Yes
madam, and through Jesus Christ do I pray. It is just interesting to
note how the God who created us as we are is taken by people and made
out to be this vengeful being who shall come down upon his creatures
with wrath dare they neglect accepting Jesus Christ. I do not believe
that He shall do so. God is not stupid: He knows what he made.
My
example is this: say you are an Engineer and you create a car. The car
is designed in such a way that its top speed is 40km/hr. Will you then
be angry when you accelerate and all the car can achieve is a maximum
speed of 40km/hr? Will you be angry at the car if, due to environmental
features, the
car’s efficiency decreases and its maximum speed becomes 20km/hr? I
think God is aware more than you or I or any other preacher, of who we
are, our nature, our susceptibility to earthly things, our weaknesses
etc. He is aware. He made us to be the best we could, to cope as much as
we could, each according to our unique character and mindset. He gave
us individual minds to think, to assess, to judge.
Hence my
statement: what am I being saved for? If for my sins, where do they come
from? If from my human nature, who gave me that nature? If God, then
why would He go through the process of making something that He thinks I
need saving from? Would God create what He abhors? And then condemn it
for its abhorrent nature?
If the human nature springs from Satan,
who created Satan? If God, did God know Satan was evil? If yes, then
why didn’t God defend us against Satan by giving us a natural
resistance against Satan in our human nature? Are you
saying God left us at the mercies of Satan and then sent his son to die
so that we could believe in the son that died and gain freedom from
Satan? But how and why? If God is all powerful and all seeing, surely a
beast like satan would not be a problem? If you had children that you
loved dearly and you saw a man coming and you knew that that man was a
great manipulator and would probably manipulate your kids into doing bad
things, would you let the man lead your kids astray? Or would you
protect them as much as you could from the man? Meaning you would stop
that man while he was still far and send him away, or kill him, or do
whatever it takes to keep him away from your children.
God loves
us, madam Waigwa, and we should love ourselves too because we were
worthy enough to be created by him, with our faults. We try all we can
in this earth that has joy, pain, sorrow, laughter, mourning,
celebration, tears and pleasure.. God appreciates us for that.
That is what I believe, and that is the God I pray to: the one who
loves me.

Romans 6:23
For the wages of Sin is Death but the free gift of God is Life thru Christ Jesus
Mark 8:36
Brian, What shall it profit a man if he GAINS the whole world and loses his own soul?
Acts 3:19
Repent therefore and be converted, that your sins be blotted out.
John 3:16
For
God, so loved the world (man) that He gave His only Son, that WHOEVER
believes in Him (Jesus) may not perish but have everlasting life.
As
you said, our lives originate from God, therefore we belong to Him, as
His creation, but He wants to have a relationship with Him as sons and
daughters, based on our willingly giving our lives to Him thru His son
Jesus Christ..
The Bible says that “there has not been given any other name, in Heaven or on earth by which we may be
saved, but the name of Jesus Christ.
It is true that one day we
will die, unless Jesus comes for those who trust in Him during the
Rapture, and then we shall face judgement. God will not judge us on our
wealth, fame or any good works. Like the days of old, God had to see
the blood of the lambs that had been sacrificed, before He could forgive
those people. God has to see the Blood of Jesus, over your life and in
your life, for Him to forgive you and I of our sins.
We cannot gain eternal life thru any other way other than what God has given us. Salvation is by Jesus Christ only.
