Quote from LaurenAmy, there is a "rapture" but it is HORIZONTAL and its into the wilderness where "we FIND GRACE" Jeremiah 31:2Those scriptures are referring to the remnant who will be "hidden" while darkness covers the earth, Isaiah 28:5-6 and Isaiah 28:19-21That "battle at the gate" in Isaiah 28:6 is the "remnant" holding on while Michael is battling Satan and his angels during what I believe will be 3 days of darkness, before we are sealed and brought into the wilderness!~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~Hi Lauren,
I respectfully disagree with this interpretation. Let's take another look at the first two passages I shared about the "hidden ones":Psalm 27:5 For in the time of trouble
He shall hide me in His pavilion;
In the secret place of His tabernacle
He shall hide me;
He shall set me high upon a rock.The hidden ones will be in the heavenly tabernacle, not in the wilderness on Earth.
Isaiah 26:19-21 Your dead shall live;
Together with my dead body they shall arise.
Awake and sing, you who dwell in dust;
For your dew is like the dew of herbs,
And the earth shall cast out the dead.Come, my people, enter your chambers,
And shut your doors behind you;
Hide yourself, as it were, for a little moment,
Until the indignation is past.
For behold, the LORD comes out of His place
To punish the inhabitants of the earth for their iniquity;
The earth will also disclose her blood,
And will no more cover her slain.I added verse 19 for context. This is clearly about the resurrection, not about a flight of people to the wilderness. As for the verses you quoted above, there is no mention about anybody being "hidden".Blessings and Maranatha!Amy Van Gerpen
