"February 9th:  Did you know?"

Did you know February 9th is Tu B’ Shevat?

Did you know this is the first day of Spring in Israel?

Did you know it is the “New Year” for trees?  Did you know it is a “tree planting” day?

Did you know it is on the full moon (full snow moon)?

~

Did you know when Jesus restored a man’s sight he saw “trees as men walking?”

Mark 8:24  24And he looked up, and said, I see men as trees, walking.

Did you know that in Isaiah 61, just after the passage Jesus read announcing his ministry, it talks of:

trees of righteousness, the planting of the LORD…?”

~

Did  you know that February 9th is the anniversary for the Apollo 14 landing (return home)?

Did you know that this anniversary is two lunar cycles (19 X 2 or 38 years) from the landing?

Did you know that unique to this landing, tree seedlings were taken to the lunar surface?

Did you know they were returned to earth and planted as “moon trees?”  Have you ever heard of such a thing?

Did you know that this was unknowingly done, just in time for Tu B’ Shevat?

Isaiah 55:12 (King James Version)

12For ye shall go out with joy, and be led forth with peace: the mountains and the hills shall break forth before you into singing, and all the trees of the field shall clap their hands!!!
