Well, Frank, I happen to be a fan of all my brothers & sisters in the Lord; but what Pastor (whom yes, I DO love and respect) told you was very true.  The patriarchs from before Yahshua’s crucifixion, death and resurrection will not be raised until later. 

 

Then I saw thrones, and they sat on them, and judgment was given to them. And I {saw} the souls of those who had been beheaded because of their testimony of Jesus and because of the word of God, and those who had not worshiped the beast or his image, and had not received the mark on their forehead and on their hand; and they came to life and reigned with Christ for a thousand years. The rest of the dead did not come to life until the thousand years were completed. This is the first resurrection. (Revelation 20:4-5)

 

If you read the Scriptures carefully, you will notice that in each case where the Scriptures talk about the Rapture, it speaks of the dead IN CHRIST, not other “dead”. 

 

For the Lord Himself will descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel and with the trumpet of God, and the dead in Christ will rise first. (1 Thessalonians 4:15)

 

But each in his own order: Christ the first fruits, after that those who are Christ's at His coming… (1 Corinthians 15:23)

 

The Patriarchs were NOT Yahshua’s Bride.  And we are only going to be “in Heaven” until the Trib is over, then we will be returning WITH Him TO THE EARTH, and that is where we will stay, not in Heaven. 

 

"Let us rejoice and be glad and give the glory to Him, for the marriage of the Lamb has come and His bride has made herself ready." It was given to her to clothe herself in fine linen, bright {and} clean; for the fine linen is the righteous acts of the saints. And the armies which are in heaven, clothed in fine linen, white {and} clean, were following Him on white horses. (Revelation 19:7-8, 14)

 

In fact, in eternity, Father Yahweh’s and Yahshua’s thrones will be moved to the earth, and they will rule from JERUSALEM… not NEW Jerusalem, but OLD Jerusalem… the Scriptures are crystal clear about this.

 

And it shall come to pass that everyone who is left of all the nations which came against Jerusalem shall go up from year to year to worship the King, the Lord of hosts, and to keep the Feast of Tabernacles. (Zechariah 14:16)

 

And until the time that the OT believers are raised, they are in “Paradise”, not Heaven… the Scriptures are also clear about that.
