"Reply to Marc/Christy:  Dead in Christ rise first"

Reply to Marc and Christy:  "Will we know that the dead in Christ have risen?" -- http://www.fivedoves.com/letters/feb2009/marcm27.htm

The Lord let me experience the answer to this in a late Fall 2003 dream:
[Artist Unknown]

I saw Jesus standing on clouds looking out over the horizon to His right.  Behind
Him was a doorway.  To His left were angels busily making preparations for
something that was about to occur.

The rushing around effect was to me like the seconds before a worship service
starts, when the minister and his staff are about to begin the service.  Sometimes
you see people on the platform rushing around, grabbing their Bibles and hymnals,
and quickly taking their places at a seat on the platform.

I watched with fascination to see what would happen next.  My first thought was that
the Rapture was going to occur any second and the angels were getting ready to
greet people as they arrived.

I had the sense that the dead in Christ were rising first and I was being held in
"waiting mode."  However, when it seemed to be taking a little longer than expected,
I got antsy and cried out:  "Don't leave me behind!  I want to go too!"  At that,
the dream ended.
The Bible indicates the dead in Christ will rise first, then we who are alive and remain will be "caught up" to meet Him in the air and so shall we ever be with the Lord.  My mother had suffered a stroke just a few months before, so in retrospect Jesus was letting me know that though she would pass away, she would go up first in the Rapture, while I waited.  This explained the delay in my going up.

The interesting thing about all this is that 7-months later the Rapture almost took place, per three reports:

1]  A hitchhiker angel report by a minister from Ado Ekiti, Nigeria;

2]  A "Wake Up Call" vision given to Rev. Oral Roberts, both occurring on the same date, June 10, 2004
.
3]  This was recently confirmed during Scott Walkington's "life-after-death" experience in which he asked the Lord when the Rapture would occur.  Jesus replied, "It could happen as soon as 2004 or 2005, but it also will depend a lot on how the world reacts to each one of these events as to how soon or how late the Rapture will take place."

Note:  It appears He has delayed again.   ;0   NANSINGS@aol.com
