Dear Bruce and Doves,

Here's a toughy... I wonder WHY God is angry with the US? Here's my thoughts:

1. Homosexuality is thrown in our faces and we are forced to accept this behavior as "normal" or else we are labeled as "Haters". Gay this and lesbian that. If God doesn't punish us then He owes Sodom and Gomorrah a really big apology! There is a practising gay man who is the leader of the Episcopalian Church! What is wrong with this picture? I could go on but you get the point.

2. How did Obama get to be President? Good question. He has no experience whatsoever but now he's our leader. I'm still trying to figure out what happened here.

3. What has happened to our Churches? What has happened to all of our great preachers? People these days want to attend "Mega-churches" and get their ears tickled and come out feeling good about themselves. When was the last time you heard a good hell and brimstone sermon? You won't. Not anymore. People don't want to hear that they are sinners.

4. Heaven forbid you discipline you child for being naughty. You'll have your child taken away and a lawsuit slapped on you faster then than getting a Domino's pizza!

5. Sex, drugs and rock & roll. This contributed to the downfall of our nation.

6. It a shame we don't treat Israel better. Let's try by giving them everything they want and stay out of their politics unless they ask for our help. Gen 12:3  "And I will bless them that bless thee, and curse him that curseth thee: and in thee shall all families of the earth be blessed."

We used to be "One Nation Under God" but this is not the case anymore. We used to be a "Christian" nation. At least that was the principles we were founded on but thanks to organizations like the A.C.L.U. we can no longer be that once great nation. This is my humble belief. Why should God bless us? What have we done lately as a nation that we are deserving of His blessings?

Let's not forget how many millions of children have been MURDERED in the name of abortion. Again I ask, why would God want to continue blessing us?
