"Can we know the Day?"

Yesterday I had the opportunity to watch the movie, The Star of Bethlehem. If you haven’t seen this movie, let me say that you MUST see it.  From the first few minutes, it took my breath away.  Let me explain…

Like most of you here on this sight, I have been watching for several years for Jesus’ return.  I KNOW that it is VERY CLOSE.  Just a little background…please understand that I am not claiming any special insight, I just study a lot.

My sister has a small bible study group that she teaches.  We have gone through Daniel, parts of Jeremiah, and are currently in Revelation.  About a year ago, she asked me to do a portion on current world events and how they relate to bible prophecy.  I listen to such teachers as Hal Lindsey (my husband and I actually met him at a very small town in Indiana a few years ago. He is the sweetest, most humble man.  He is just like he appears to be on TV), Pastor Steve Hadley (harvestreno.org), Sharon and Derek Gilbert (PIDRadio.com), Jack Van Impe, of course, Five Doves every day, just to name a few.  I am consumed with the desire to meet Jesus in the Rapture.    All that being said, let me get to my point.

Everyone has an opinion on whether on not we can know the time of our Lord’s return.  I think maybe we can!  After listening to The Star video, it seemed as if pictures were flashing before me of all the things that I have learned.  I hope this makes sense to all of you.

Daniel was told by the angel to “seal up the words” he was given “until the time of the end” and then many would go back and forth seeking knowledge (Daniel 12:4).  This implies to me that at the “end time”, “knowledge” would be unsealed for those seeking it.

Rick Larson (The Star) presents what God revealed to him on his search for the Star of Bethlehem.  He discovered that God had plainly put His plan of Christ’s birth and death in the stars.  This could not have been revealed except for the technology that is available to us today.  Pastor Steve has more information on the Gospel in the Stars on the Harvest website (http://www.harvestreno.org).  Under the Bible Facts section look at “The Mazzeroth”.  This references Psalm 19.

Also, I am sure most of you will remember Pastor Mark Biltz’s teaching on the eclipses and the blood moon and how they coincide with the Feasts days (http://www.elshaddaiministries.us/ ).  And based on Pastor Biltz’s findings Pastor Steve Hadley looked at Purim (8/3/2008 Prophecy Update: A Purim Connection...? ).

I am so excited I can hardly contain myself.  I KNOW that Jesus is about to return, at any moment!  I feel in my heart that He has left us all we need to know about that Day.  The Apostle Paul was a learned man.  He knew the scriptures.  He studied with the best teachers.  In 1 Thess. 5, he tells them that he doesn’t need to write to them of the times and seasons because they already know.  He tells them that “that Day” should not overtake them because they are not in darkness (not without the knowledge he has given them concerning the Rapture?).  And in 2 Thess. 2, he reassures them again telling them that “when he was with them, he told them all these things”.

Concluding, and trying to make a point J, I feel in my heart that Jesus is very close to coming to returning for us.  And while it is not mandatory that we know the exact day, Jesus himself told us to be watching.  According to research done by Rick Larson, the wise men KNEW the EXACT timing of Jesus’ birth and, if they were looking, His death also.  God put it there in the stars.  Also, according to Pastor Steve Hadley’s teaching, Jesus' entry into Jerusalem and His death were accurately foretold in the scripture as well (A Most Amazing Prophecy, 11/18/2008).

With all of this information being revealed (unsealed) in these last days, with the EXACT dates being shown for Jesus’ first coming, with the whole story of the Gospel written in the sky, I think the Lord will surely give us a “day”, a “time”, to be ready for His return.

Please, Doves, keep looking and posting.  I am ready “any day” but there would certainly be great comfort in knowing exactly how close we are to Heaven.

Watching and waiting,

Bea
