"To Lewis B. / Joseph of Armathea / Shroud"
In the Scriptures (Mark 15:46) it says that Joseph of Armathea purchased the
linen cloth in which Christ was buried, but it doesn't mention any glue.
From what I have read, the Shroud agrees with Jewish customs that Jesus
would have been wrapped with a cloth lengthwise from head to foot. I think this
is especially true since Jesus actually died the death of a criminal. I believe
I could find some references on that, if you can't find them on www.shroudstory.com or www.shroud.com.
I don't care if
everyone agrees with me about the Shroud. Belief in Jesus is what is
important. However, I do believe that there might be some "doubting Thomases"
lurking among our readers. The Shroud could possibly be the evidence that makes
their jaw drop and like Thomas exclaim, "My Lord and My God!" (John 20)
