"Thank God For The Jews Indeed!    Jeremiah 30:11; Romans 11:13-15."

Praise The Lord.

To The Saints Of The Most High God, And To All.

For we can do nothing against the truth, but for the truth. II Corinthians 13:8; Romans 2:29; I Peter 2:9.

The Jews are God chosen people! This is the inescapable truth found in the Scripture. To be called by God is a high honor. To whom much is given, much is required. Many of the Jews themselves even wonder over this choice by Jehovah. Nevertheless, God did choose Israel. The choice of Jehovah has disquiet (many). I am sure we all are familiar with Jacob special feelings towards Joseph, and Joseph dreams, and what it led to, and what Joseph had to go through, before he landed where God had intended. (To preserve the life of many). Thank God for the Jews. The Lord did not choose Israel because a halo cloud was hanging over her head, Ezekiel 16:22, neither did He choose her to be single out for persecutions and distress, He did not choose her as a pet people, to be pampered and especially favored.

Jehovah chose Israel to teach (all nations) of (Himself), to witness to the existence of the (one true and living God). In the book of Isaiah 43:10-12, "Ye are my witness, saith the Lord, and my servant whom I have chosen....I, even I, am the Lord....ye are my witnesses, saith the Lord, that I am God". In the book of  St. John 4:22; and Acts 13:26, it will shed more light also on the subject.

Jehovah chose Israel to show forth His love and faithfulness. In the book of Deuteronomy 7:7-8, "The Lord did not set his love upon you, nor choose you, because ye were more in number,...for ye were the fewest of all people: but because the Lord loved you, and because he would keep the oath which he had sworn unto your fathers." Jehovah chose Israel to be a blessing to (all people) through the (seed) of Abraham. (Genesis. 12:1-3) Jehovah chose Israel to be a praise to Him. (Isaiah 43:21). Jehovah chose Israel to bring forth salvation to (all mankind). (St. John 4:22)

Through Israel came the holy writings, the promises of God, and the Redeemer. Sometimes Israel was an unwilling teacher; at times Israel strayed. But God used even the lapses of faith, even the disobedience, as object lessons to those who wanted to learn of Him. Like Jonah of old, the chosen people will serve God in one way or another. The joy of serving Him comes only with the relationship born of (obedience). But willingly or unwillingly, Israel shall serve the Lord!

All that befell ancient Israel has a direct bearing on God's people today. The apostle Paul wrote in I Corinthians 10:11: "Now all these things happened unto them (Israel) for ensamples: and they are written for our ( the church) admonition, upon whom the ends of the world are come". Everything the people of the Bible were, everything they did, both as a nation and as individuals, can be a lesson to us today. Through the history of His people, Israel, we see the hand of the Almighty guiding, directing, showing what He expects of His people. Israel's customs and traditions are more than just quaint folkways to be studied by historians. Her history is a memorial of the past and a guidepost to the future.

It is through the Law of the Lord given to them, that mankind is showed the unsatisfactory condition of the natural human heart. Jehovah willingness to forgive and restore. The way Jehovah has provided that all people might come to Him. The faithfulness and constancy of Jehovah love. (Isaiah 45:22; ST. John 3:16) From the loins of faithful Abraham, God formed this special people. He called Abraham out of paganism and idolatry and established his seed as a great nation to be an example to the heathen.  He gave special people a (Law and a land). He commanded them to keep the Sabbath as a reminder of creation and their Creator, and He ordained seven religious feasts to be observed every year (Leviticus 23:5-44).

First, Israel had to learn from her own history to know and trust the (one and true God). Then His dealings with the Jewish people were to be a beacon to (steer all the nations) away from idolatry and sin to saving faith in their Creator. (Deut. 18:15-22; Psalms 27-1; Zechariah 9:9;  Matthew 21:5; 28:19;  St. John 8:12;  9:5; Acts 4:12;  Romans 1:16;) Events and teachings in Scripture often have more than one meaning. There is the obvious contemporary event to which there can be one or more prophetic counterparts, and there can also be a spiritual application.  The ancient feasts of Jehovah, which He gave to Israel, cast the shadow of a greater future reality.

Even as God orders the universe and commands the seasons of nature, so He has ordained times and seasons to bring about His order and plan of Salvation for the human race. (Romans 5:26; I Timothy 2:6; I Peter 5:6) Let us thank the Lord again for the Jews, "Boast not against the Jews. But if thou boast, thou bearest not the root, but the root thee. Thou wilt say then, The branches  were broken off, that I might be graffed in. Well; because of unbelief they (some of the Jews) were broken off, and thou (Gentiles) standest by faith. Be not highminded, but fear: For if God spared not the natural branches, take heed lest He also spare not thee.  (Romans 11:18-21,)

Apostle Paul a few verses later in the same chapter quoted to the Gentile saints, Romans 11:25, For I would not, brethren, that ye should be ignorant of this mystery, lest ye should be wise in your own conceits; that blindness in part is happened to Israel, (until the fulness of the Gentiles be come in). Thank God for the Jews indeed! To all, please read with me Genesis the 45th chapter and Zechariah 12:9-14, (THE LAST SHALL BE FIRST)!
